Remove the current headlights by removing the 4 10mm bolts around each light, unplug each light by squeezing the connector of both ends and pulling backwards. (Cars with washer jets will also need to unclip the washer tube, it's held on by a small C shaped clip.)
Place the new lights in position and loosely add all 4 bolts on both sides, gently press down the bonnet and align the lights with the gaps, have someone hold the light while you tighten down the 10mm bolts.
Once aligned wiring has to be done; there is a harness that goes between each headlight (Brown wire), and a harness that comes off each light with a red wire, these have to be connected to the sidelight connectors on either side. There is also a red and black cable that has to be connected on the fusebox side of the engine bay. Red to the 10mm large main screw in the fuse box, and the black to ground.
Professional installation is recommended.

Car modification laws in the UK and elsewhere are in place to ensure drivers who want to enhance their vehicles adhere to certain safety standards. While modifications are a great way to alter the look and performance of a car, some may also affect the handling and overall safety of the vehicle on the road.
You may need to inform your insurance company of any modifications made to your car – whether they were already installed when you purchased the vehicle or if you have done them yourself. If you don’t tell your insurer, any future claim you make could be turned down. Worse still, your insurance could be completely invalidated. Modifications carried out to any car may affect the vehicle manufacturers warranty.
